macOS (i.e. Macintosh Operating System) is a closed source Operating System designed for Apple's fleet of desktop and laptop computers. Some examples include:

Through it's history, there have been over 16 major releases of macOS (i.e. previously OS X) each with their own list of patches and minor releases. The previous versions of macOS are listed below:
