Microsoft alongside the Department of Education are offering Professional Development to select schools over two terms to create a transformation vision and build the skills and capability to enable it. The goal is to empower school leaders and teachers to inspire and educate students using the Microsoft technology they already have.
Any staff who are interested in participating in the Microsoft Program should speak with their Head Teacher before registering their interest using the following form no later than COB Friday 5th February 2021. Once the date has closed, all expressions of interest will be considered by Senior Executive.

This should include at least one member of your school Executive such as the Principal or Assistant/Deputy Principal, e-Learning Leader or Curriculum Leader. |
Friday 5th March 9am-3pm | Office 365 Teacher Academy (Teachers at beginner level) | This compulsory workshop is designed for teaching and non-teaching staff who would like to grasp a basic understanding of using Office 365 technologies including Teams, OneNote, Forms, Sway and OneDrive. We ask you send at least two staff members to this session but you can send more. |
Wednesday 10th March 3:30pm-4:30pm | IT Pros Presentation | This compulsory workshop is designed for computer coordinators, TSOs, or ITD field staff who support technology deployment and management in your school. We ask that you send your computer coordinator at least to this workshop. |
Tuesday 9th March OR Thursday 11th March OR Monday 15th March 9:30am-3:30pm | Inclusive Classroom Workshop | Teaching and learning support staff who support students with learning and physical needs should attend this compulsory workshop. We ask that you send at least two people and they may be a Learning Support leader, Learning Support teacher, SLSO, Integration Aide, Support Professionals (OT, Speech Pathologist, etc.) or a classroom teacher who teaches students with specific learning or physical needs. |
Tuesday 16th AND Wednesday 17th March 9am-3pm both days | Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer Academy | This compulsory workshop is designed for educators who would like to know more about the suite of Microsoft technologies and also share that knowledge with their colleagues. Attendees will create a PD session to deliver as part of this two-day workshop. We ask you send at least two educators such as e-Learning Leaders, Teaching & Learning Leader, Curriculum Leaders, Teacher-Trainers, or classroom teachers who regularly share their knowledge with colleagues. |
